When local institutions align around a shared vision, they have the power to drive meaningful change. Through collaboration, education and innovation, we hope to transform our community’s health.

This multi-year effort is supported by a $22.3 million investment from The Endowment and brings together University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cape Fear Community College, New Hanover County Schools, and the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Together, we’re working to build long-term solutions to the healthcare workforce shortage in our region by strengthening education pathways, supporting students in creative and meaningful ways, and preparing them for fulfilling careers right here in New Hanover County.

Achieving long-term solutions takes time. Through shared investment, educational alignment, and community support, this initiative is working to build a resilient healthcare workforce for generations to come.
